DPC is an evolving group with its original roots in M&E.  Full fit-outs have become the norm over the past 7 years and success in the obvious sectors such as retail and office have led to more niche projects.  DPC has a mentality entrenched in client service and works ultra-closely with clients who are asking for difficult or one-off projects which differ from much more routine opportunities.

Healthcare is a sector that can be demanding and comes with its own regulations and particular demands.  Case study 1 below showcases a couple of fast track projects completed by DPC in 2017.  Case study 2 is a one-off conversion of a 6-storey Edwardian property in London into a technical workshop, associated retail space and staff living quarters.  This building required heavy infrastructure compliance investment in ventilation, electrics and safety systems before any refurbishment works could be done.

Royal Berks and Heatherwood

2016 saw DPC convert a redundant ward at the Royal Berkshire Hospital into a suite of Doctors rooms.  All of the work was done at night and had to be managed under patient-secure conditions with a strict programme adjusted weekly to assist the hospital requirements that continually changed.

2100 metres of pipework was the standout feature of the plumbing and sanitary package won by DPC at Heatherwood Hospital in Ascot in 2016.  Working as a subcontractor DPC played a crucial role in the successful conversion of a previously redundant building.

AMB presented the challenge to fit-out a 6-storey apartment in Piccadilly West London.  Apart from the technical infrastructure investments that needed to be made prior to the fit-out happening the stand-out features of this project included marble flooring in the retail space, 3 floors of 100-year old reclaimed parquet being sourced and fitted, non-reflective bandit glass to the front, copper fittings & stair no-sings and signage sourced in Europe. A unique client!
