Park Central, Birmingham

After successfully navigating our way through the previous 2 phases, DPC secured the final phase of the award winning Crest Nicholson regeneration site @ Park Central, Birmingham.

Phase 11 was the construction of 339 new build apartments. Our works included the supply and install of a new fusion weld underslung soil vent pipe work and rainwater, 6 plant rooms (1 per block), 6no dry risers, all new communal mains water pipe work.

The phasing and programme required DPC to handover 11 apartments a week at peak. A dedicated on-site team was set up including an admin resource to assist logistically, freeing up vauluable site management time.  DPC’s performance over the first two phases was good enough to win Medium Contractor of the Year 2016.

Ifield Road, Crawley

Ifield Road Is a one off build of 213 apartments. The site is split over 5 cores all fed from one plant room. Sectional hand over of cores 5 and 4 meant that the plant room and communal mains water system had to be fully operational very earlier within the project.

Following a recent visit from the NHBC, the plumbing installation achieved marks of 5/6 on the first fix installation and 6/6 for the 2nd fix installation. This is exceptional and the highest marks of any other trade on site.

The original project completion date was October 2018, however the site is ahead of schedule and it looks to be completed by August 2018.
