The latest edition to the DPC Group was an obvious one. As a company we were always encouraged by our clients to incorporate the electrical element of the projects within our scope of works. As a natural progression we began to employ electrical engineers to carry out the works alongside our mechanical engineers.

In August 2017 the electrical company reached a stage where it was big enough to become a company in its own right. DPC Electrical Contracts was born and within 6 months had secured 2 contracts worth a combined £3m.

With the core values of DPC Contracts as the foundations and access to the DPC Contracts established client base, the electrical arm of the company is a sound investment.

The new company establishes DPC as an M&E contractor able to carry out contracts with values up to £10m.

DPC Electrical Contracts were drafted in to help complete the works to 339 new build apartments in Birmingham. DPC Contracts were already on site carrying out the plumbing and heating and ventilation works.

An unfortunate situation arose where the electrical contractor on site went into administration in the Carillion fallout.

DPC were asked if we could step in and pick up the works and achieve the April half year hand overs and then continue with the work until completion in October 2018.
Some late nights, long meetings and lots of hard work from the 20+ strong electrical workforce on site helped get the project back on target to achieve the April plots.

November 2017 saw DPC complete a fast-track rewire project of a large retail warehouse/offices in Mitcham Surrey.  Adopting a two-shift programme over an intense 14 day window meant the install was completed on time in time to receive the clients inbound summer stock.
